The August term runs from August 30^th - October 3^rd.

As you get started with your online class(es) this term please make sure you confirm on the course site that you have the correct textbook. If this is your first online course please spend a few minutes familiarizing yourself with the online course site features by visiting the tutorial Moodle Online Tutorial, and as always, if you have any questions or concerns about your course work be sure to contact your instructor ASAP.

Forecasters are predicting that Hurricane Earl will brush the east coast sometime between Thursday and Friday, somewhere near the Virginia Beach coastline. As a result, communications with your online teachers could be interrupted for some time depending upon the severity of the storm’s impact. There may also be connectivity issues accessing your online course. Please look for more information from your online instructors for directions regarding your assignments and participation during this time.
